Corporate Bear & Predator Defence (2 Day) - Bear Psychology, Avoidance & Firearms Training

This two day course allows for complete Worksafe B.C. and industry compliance for companies that do not have an in house bear avoidance training program. In depth bear awareness and avoidance will be covered in addition to Silvercore's industry leading firearms training program. When it comes to employee safety and corporate due diligence, Silvercore offers the highest level of training at the best value when cutting corners is not an option.
The student is responsible for bringing their own shotgun. If the student does not have access to a shotgun, arrangements can be made with Silvercore to rent one. Silvercore provides rental packages for all needed equipment.
Ammunition can be purchased through Silvercore if advanced notice is given.
Personal safety equipment
You will need a supporting shoe with good traction, a billed hat (baseball hat), quality wraparound eye protection, and hearing protection. Eye and hearing protection are mandatory for everyone on the range. Shirt should be form fitting at torso and cuffs as to not snag the equipment. No loose collars as stray brass can get stuck down your shirt. Pants should allow ample movement. Safety equipment can be arranged through Silvercore with advanced notice.
Silvercore's training is approved and recognized through HRDC
Anyone over the age of 16 who takes a course with Silvercore which either enables them to work or improves their skills in a recognized occupation may be eligible to claim their course fees under the education and textbook tax credits.
