The Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC) is the RCMP-approved course you must pass to get a restricted PAL (RPAL), the license class that covers handguns and other restricted firearms. Silvercore runs the CRFSC in a single day (the RCMP minimum is 6 hours of instruction on its own, or 4 hours when taken within 7 days of your CFSC) for $135 plus tax, with both federal exams included and a pass mark of 80% on each, taught by instructors certified by the BC Chief Firearms Officer. You must complete the CFSC before taking this course. Training uses deactivated, non-firing firearms. The home classroom is the Silvercore training facility at #115-7198 Vantage Way, Delta, BC, with CRFSC courses also in Langley, New Westminster, Victoria, Nanaimo, Parksville, and the Comox Valley.
Whether you’re interested in applying for a Canadian firearms license, or are simply interested in learning more about firearms safety, this is the course for you. It’s one of Silvercore's most popular classes and the first step for those looking to get into target shooting, a career in law enforcement, or the movie industry.
